Hey, I'm Sherina
Founder
Born and raised in Alaska, I’ve always been surrounded by stories — whether through the landscapes of home or the people around me. In 2017, I moved to Dallas, Texas after spending over a decade working in the airline industry, where I started my career at just 19 years old and worked my way into operations management.

My professional journey taught me invaluable skills — from clear communication and problem-solving to adaptability and leadership — but over time, I felt called back to my creative roots. During the COVID pandemic, like so many others, I experienced a shift in direction. Picking up my camera again allowed me to reconnect with what I’ve always loved: capturing stories, real moments, and genuine human connection.

Since then, I’ve built Sherina The Storyteller to do just that — to document life’s journeys, to help people tell their stories in an authentic way, and to support individuals and brands in creating meaningful narratives through both visual storytelling and brand strategy. Over time, I’ve developed an instinctive understanding of what draws people in — the moments, details, and emotions that make someone stop, feel, and remember.

I’m passionate about helping people feel seen and celebrated, whether it’s through a portrait session, a personal documentary-style project, or guiding business owners in telling their brand story with intention and clarity. I believe in building community-driven brands, in honoring everyday moments, and in creating visuals that preserve legacy and spark connection.
To me, storytelling is about more than just beautiful photos or polished videos — it’s about crafting something true to you, something that resonates, and something that lives beyond the moment.
